A preliminary study was performed with the aim of evaluating the
OLEOZON action in the whitening of teeth, when by one reason or
another they have lost their natural color,. The sample was of 30
patients, 15 patients treated with OLEOZON and 15 patients treated
with the conventional method (sodium perborate and acetone). In
this study the vital teeth with dyschromia were excluded, we only
treated the not vital ones or those teeth submitted to a removal
of pulp. The withening of teeth was reached from the fifth visit
on using OLEOZON. The control group had a similar behavior, so we
can state that OLEOZON substitutes sodium perborate and acetone in
the treatment of dyschromia with satisfactory results.
