Abstract: 

The book, Cancer: A Second Opinion, by Josef Issels is reviewed. 
This writer states that tumors are local late manifestations of a 
generalized disease; cure can thus best be achieved not only by 
attacking the localized tumors but also by restoration of the 
entire metabolism and defense mechanism. His types of treatment of 
cancer are: oxygen-ozone therapy; hematogenic oxidation therapy; 
hot ether therapy; auto-hormone therapy; pyreto therapy; dental 
extraction; and specific active immunotherapy using Gerlach's 
vaccine.
